There could be many other functions of the car that you're not aware of, some that might benefit your driving experience, some of which may aid the safety of you, your passengers and other road users. That's why the manufacturers go to the trouble of writing it.

I might not have been helpful, but I wasn't wrong was I?
The pdf manual is worth having on a pc as the search function is useful, but as said above, it's hard to search for something when you don't know what it is.

You could've easily said what you said originally and still helped him at the same time, but you didn't. I joined this site to find info on my car and to help others if possible.

You have absolutely no idea about the OP's situation, his mental state, his level of education or even his first language. Is he prone to depression or suicidal thoughts? How does he react to criticism? You have absolutely no idea, but you decide that you know better than him what's best for him. How condescending of you!littlescrote said:Moonlander said:I think you're missing the point here littlescrote. Markd75 already said he'd looked through the manual and posted here afterwards. I get the point. I also get that when he says he looked through the manual several times, he must have just bloke looked rather than properly read it because we all know it's in there.
I'm also here to learn and to help people, but sometimes helping people involves encouraging them to learn to fish, not just throwing a fish at them as they haven't bothered to put any bait on their hook.

BTW, I'm being ironic

Wow, so you're really on here to be correct and to be passively aggressive. I'm having the same issue and have also looked through the manual multiple times (as I have a family, full-time job, & life I didn't read every word/page, never have and driven all my vehicles just fine plus never an accident). Please do tell where in the manual it shows this symbol? Also, your said resolution doesn't work. All you're saying is how to scroll through the information displayed on dash, not how to remove it or even what it means, which is what is being asked. Fish much? I agree with Moonlander. You're just an angry little man trying to make yourself feel better by putting others down, how's that working out for you? In your real life not just hiding behind a keyboard!I might not have been helpful, but I wasn't wrong was I?

Not sure where you are from but as I recall littlescrote is from Basildon and as a Canvey boy myself, I'm afraid I'm on his side on this one!Wow, so you're really on here to be correct and to be passively aggressive.
