MMCS Display "Off"

Does anyone know how you turn the MMCS display off when one wants to use their smartphone for most activity?

Press "Settings" button and then "Screen off" button in the screen. I have used it when driving in the woods in complete darkness as I want to rid of light that will disturb my night vision.

Long push on the on/off switch or Settings / Screen Off on mine.
