Is there any way to turn the MMCS into a DVR for the 4 cameras on the car? It seems to me that all the hardware is there (cameras, SD card slot etc) but obviously the software is missing.

Anyone thought of hacking it in some way, or adding some kind of widget to get the video feeds permanently and recording them on a loop as dashcam footage?

Hey did you ever find a way to do this?
I'm picking up my '24 on Tues and was just thinking this same thing.

It's probably a bit specialised...

MMCS is running a custom version of linux and there's probably not much overlap between linux developers and this car.

I piggy backed power for the dashcam in the Disco off the interior light supply above the wind screen, anyone done anything similar with these cars?
I bought a plug adapter which plugged into back of mirror and had USB port for camera to plug into. The original plug from car plugged into adapter. In first day car gave all sorts of error messages, disabled EV system and put car in limp mode. Was not far from home so went back and removed adapter. Fixed the problem. Since have plugged camera using extension cord to USB plug in center console

Yes, I've done that for a powered mirror that displays a camera that I have on my bike rack, as that obscures the built in camera by the number plate.

Well that pretty much knocks that idea on the head!!
