Mitsubishi has announced that pricing on the i-MiEV will be lowered by $6000 but there is no news on the Outlander PHEV 
I was hoping Mitsubishi would set some US rollout plans or something interesting. But we still don't know when the Outlander plug-in hybrid will be available in the US. Initially, it was supposed to be this year, but stinking demand in Europe and Japan :lol:
I guess I can't be too upset, because if I lived over there I would be ordering one too lol!
According to Roger Yasukawa (manager of product communications at Mitsubishi Motors North America), Mitsubishi will start the planning for a US launch soon. There are no plans to produce the Outlander PHEV or i-MiEV in North America since the battery suppliers are in Japan, so we are at the mercy of supply and demand!
