Location of the main horn

Hi, can anyone point me at the location of the main horn on my PHEV GX4h, I want to replace the current one with something more in keeping with a 4 x 4.

The horn will be in roughly the same place. Easy way to find out, stand by the front with the bonnet up and ask someone to beep the horn a few times, you will be able to hear roughly where it is coming from. Best wear ear defenders / ear plugs when you do this.

Whatever you do, DO NOT do what he did - the horn he is using (same as I retrofitted to my motorcycle) draws far too much current for the wiring. Fit a relay - existing wiring to drive the relay, new wiring (fused link) to the power supply.

You can get direct replacements - high power 115 db - along the lines of these (no wiring change required, direct replacement). You can get cheaper, but these things live in a harsh environment, so go for something a little better than "cheap as chips".
