Ipod classic and phone connectivity issues

There is a software update available at your dealer that may help with anyone having ipod and phone connectivity issues.
If you press settings and map together (for a few seconds) you will find a sub-menu.
Under 'Hands free module' the latest s/w version should be 18.00.000

My ipod classic suddenly stopped working after 9 months - couldn't get past confirming media.
It is now working fine.

I have a UK '14 plate 4H bought in June last year.

At last - the elusive hidden menu! I went straight out to have a look and have now been able to adjust my reversing camera. Thanks Pheverish.

It is also worth mentioning that software updates are not always routinely done as part of a service - you will have to ask for it.
