How big does the PHEV think the battery is

Problem with Timer recharge and SUMMER time.

Was wondering if other forum members had noticed delayed timer recharging of the PHEV in Summer?

The pic above was taken with half a battery with 2.2kW power recharging. This was the time the PHEV worked out would be required to recharge at that rate. This came up after the normal period of time after charging had started and the car had done its thing to work it out.

Just seems to confirm the crude vehicle software and the rubbery figures we are expected to believe. :?

Will check in a few hours to see if it has worked out a better recharging time

The display did eventually read 2:15 after about half an hour, so it looks like it takes some time for the car to work out the numbers.

Have checked the timer recharge again. Have it set to recharge daily between 8:00AM and 6:00PM. Connected the car up at 6:10PM and the car started recharging. This is 5:10PM CST. It is now 7:05PM and the car has shut down the recharging. The car is displaying the correct GPS local time.

Looks like this is another bug to have fixed on AUS shipped vehicles unless we just are expected to manually change the time in summer and just use STD time zone times.

BTW today the ambient temp was over 42C and the battery seemed to struggle supplying power, and was reluctant to give much REGEN.

Have just received the missing wifi code after the dealer used the MUT computer on the PHEV. Can confirm that after the car firmware update was applied the PHEV now knows about daylight saving times. Shame not much else seems to be different. Will see if maybe the battery computer calcs and charge costs have been fixed.

Note that regen will not work when the battery is full. There is nowhere to put the regenerated energy.

The battery indicated about half full, so there should have been no problem powering the car or allowing full REGEN.

Any way to tell what the version number of the update was and how it can be displayed on our cars? Any news on if any of the issues have been improved yet (other than time zones)?
Kind regards,
Mark
