Help identifying under bonnet item

Hi I have some sort of unit on the off side of a rhd 2015 phev which has a cracked pipe from the accident damage. Looks to be a vent or an input to air , some sort of cushioned airbox inside the inner wing. , it also runs a pipe thru the bulkhead

I wondered if it was a vacuum pump? And what the thin black box in the wing is called In the inner wing as the connector has snapped.

Has a label on it saying high temp.
