Gx3h phonebook import problem

Hi

I have a GX3H and when I go through the voice options to import all contacts it tells me import is complete but still it says phonebook empty when I ask it to list names.

I am using my work iPhone 6 I have also tried it with my iPhone 6plus but it doesn't import any contacts does anyone have a solution? Sorry if it's a repost but I've only found the answers for the gx4h

I get that when I import the contacts via my works blackberry but my old iPhone 4 works ok, think its something to do with the format it stored in on the phone? maybe the 6 stores them differently.

I've had the same with iphone 5 - nothing stored
