Extra key

Hi everyone,

I hope this question has not been asked.
I have a recent phev 2020.
We lost one key and ordered and let program a replacement key
Of course the lost key came out of a deep pocket. We now have three keys.
The supposed lost key does not work anymore.
I suppose the dealer erased that key as it was lost.
Does anyone know whether and how that key can be registered again ?
Can the car know three keys ?
Can I do that procedure myself ?

Yes ,that key was erased when you new one was added.

Yes, it can be readded

No, you cannot do it yourself

Or you could sell it for someone else to reprogramme for their car. Sadly losing keys isn't uncommon...

Not possible on some keys. The MUT will reject it as it knows it has been used on another vehicle. This happens on keyless as well as KOS.
