Hello Wolfy. Bill Robson who owns Teeside Mitsubishi, Darlington hand delivered ours and as well as owning a PHEV is very knowledgeable with the car. It seems that NHS solutions use this dealer to source the cars and get hold of them quickly. Also Glen Proudlock at solutions deals with delivery and is also very helpful. Both I think will help with model queries. All the best.

Thanks Terry. I spoke to NHS Solutions last week and they said that as my order has gone in for the G3 now, it would cost £500 to change it to the G4 (cancel and re-order). To be honest, I'm not that fussed anyway as I can live with not having the extras for the £400 it saves me per annum over the G3. I get the car at the end of April when my current lease completes. Looking forward to it, although my current car (Hyundai i40 estate) has been very good.

I have been lurking around here for a couple of weeks - first post

I have just ordered my Outlander through NHS Fleetsolutions - GX4h, with retractable towbar, in Grey, on 15000 miles / year, for £280 month (includes BIK). Interested that you mention Teeside Mitsubishi - I have been very brave and ordered without test driving

I did sense a lack of interest from another dealer when I mentioned leasing through the NHS - you obviously know Teesside Mitsubishi well, do you know if they would entertain test driving - the main interest in the Outlander for me is the size, free charging at work and the low BIK - all these add up to make leasing a sensible approach - I did bring all these up in conversation with the other dealer.

Hello hungymackem. I too ordered without a test drive but am honestly not disappointed. I love the car. Mine is a GX4h in gray. Regarding Teeside Mitsubishi all I can say is that Bill was very good on delivery and I'm sure he would gladly offer a test drive. He said they were the main dealer for the NHS so I guess they want to keep hold of the business.

Well I have jumped on the NHS Fleet Solutions bandwagon, had been toying with the idea of a lease car for a while, but with all the 'organisational realignment' going on, combined with struggling to justify replacing the old A Class for just something similar we kept on putting it off. However we stumbled across the PHEV and decided at £312 inclusive of 20,000 miles that it was a no brainer.

We had no problem arranging a test drive at the Leeds branch, in fact we had two, but I have to confess they were generally a grumpy bunch, but I suspect that has nothing to do with the NHS link. Perhaps the fact that NHS England is based in Leeds combined with all the trusts and the CCGs means they get quite a bit of business. Have been quoted 10-14 weeks by fleet solutions which is annoying, but hey ho we will wait and see, might be quicker I suppose.

I have low standards in terms of cars, as have never really been bothered about anything nice before, but have to say I do like this one. For our journeys from Holmfirth to Leeds to work (both me and the wife work for NHS England) and our pottering around the local area, I am hoping that with the GX4H that we wont be spending too much on fuel.

The journey from Holmfirth to Leeds will be at the upper limit of EV range but, if you can get a charge while you are at work, your petrol consumption should be pretty low.

We were given 10 - 14 weeks but took delivery at 6 weeks. Also would recommend Rolec who are still offering free 16 amp home charging stations. They sub contract to a Leeds company called Phoenix who were excellent. Enjoy. You will love the car.

She's still waiting for her PHEV.

But I agree with Terry W. Go with Rolec*. We contacted 4 other charge point installers and only one responded - just to say no....

Until last week....

We got emails and phone calls saying please get in contact etc.

Too late you clowns!

We got a reply the next day from an email I sent direct to Rolec.

We have someone coming out tomorrow (Friday) to do the survey for the free charge point.

*Go to their own website and fill in the form for the free charge point, I think they then subbie it out to your nearest installer??
