Estimated Time to Deliver

Does anyone know what the current estimated delivery time is from date of order? Local dealership seems rather vague on the subject.

Ordered mine the middle of March and delivery on the 29th April so six weeks.

Why does it take so long in the UK?

We walked in and an hour later we walked out the owners of a new car and delivery was three days.
