Chargin point 'filler flap' issue

Evening all

Noticed for the last couple of weeks that every time I get out of the car to park my GX4h the 'filler flap' to the charging points on the car has popped open. Can't seem to see anything obviously wrong with the mechanism but wondered if anyone else had this issue?

i did 2 months ago. Reckon someone had walked/bumped into it when it was open and 'hyperextended' it. (is that a real word?). After 3 or 4 days of having a flap open/ not close properly. the 'spring' (curved metal piece) on the right hinge eventually fell out. Refitted it, right as rain ever since.

Yep, that was the problem! Come to think of it I seem to remember walking into the flap whilst it was open a while ago and maybe I hyperextended it in the process ;-)

Spring was loose. Re-fitted it now and all sorted.
