Brake light B4 and B5

The new 2016 shows brake lights on B4 and B5, as i have been told.
I find it relaxing when i drive in slow heavy traffic, we have it in Sweden also!, to go to B5 and just drive with the gas pedal, you just adjust the pedal for Power, Nutral or Gen, but the question is if my brake light are lit all the time, or only when i generate?

I believe it is only when you are actually transferring power to the battery. But in slow traffic why not stick with the adaptive cruise control, I find it works well even down to zero, although it is a bit slow in starting to accelerate again at times

According to Mitsubishi the brake lights only come on when in B4 at speeds of 81mph and above and when in B5 at speeds of 25mph and above, so they will not be on all the time in slow moving traffic.

Raymie, My car is low spec, does not have the feature, purchased it COD private.
DazzyB, perfect, then i can continue with my behaviour without disturbing drivers behind.
