Charged my PHEV using the 13amp cable connected to a socket in the garage. Took about 2.5 hours to go from half to full charge. Now the fridge freezer in the utility room has broken - looks like the thermostat has gone. I am not sure what the shared circuits are but could this be related? Still waiting for Pod Point to install my charging station (1 month and counting).

Doubtful, mine's charged on the same circuit as my utility room - washing machine & tumble drier - with no problems (despite that circuit being prone to tripping out the whole house - did it once whilst we were on holiday and de-frosted the freezer  )

It is probably a coincidence - especially as there are circuit breakers on all the circuits. Just wondered if anyone else had had any problems using the 13amp option.
