Not sure if it's standard but my 2016 Outlander had a dual USB socket on the back of the centre box just above the rear seat warmer buttons.
I've found out that the cable got pulled out of the back of the sockets so whilst I'm repairing it I figured why not upgrade to a quick charge unit whilst I'm there.
The issue I'm having is I can't figure out where they were being powered from, there's no power currently going to them but the two accessory socket/12v fuses are intact.
Any ideas?
