New 2024 Outlander PHEV in Alberta, Canada.

If I may make a suggestion. If buying winter tires, consider latest tech all weather tires, with the mountain peak certification. No tire changes for a while

    2023 PHEV Tire Issue

You are correct. Actually reviewed this tire as well before buying. It was top rated. Good buy and I believe they call it all weather as well.

    Charging port door stuck closed?

This is weird. I have a 2024 and I charge 2 or 3 times a week. Never hear motor / lock sound or whirring in charge port. I just open and plug it in. No sound whatsoever except the confirmation of charge with beep sound.

    Outlander PHEV Sub-Zero Operation Question

According to the mitsubishi letter I received, it does fix the problem. At -30C with the car plugged in, there should be no issues. I'll go with that for now and see.

Cold Weather No-Start Work Around - Scheduled Warm Ups

Good points Melo.very similar profile to yours. But would add that even in Montreal, Canada - 35 or 40 c are extremely rare. I haven't seen - 40 in many years and experienced -30 a few times over the last 3 years.

    2023 PHEV Tire Issue

Ian I went in a similar direction because in Montreal where I live, mountain 3PSC spec is required. I went with the summitomo Falken All Weather tire. Do not use all season as it is not the same and folks get nervous. All weather is the way to go, less tire changes and wasted time Ron

I have received a letter from mitsu letting me know that my car, a 24 mod, has a software update that will help with this issue. But staying charged (plugged in )is also recommended in very cold weather.

You know soon mitsu trims and figuring out the features available is a crapshoot. So unclear. I bought the entry level ES in Canada and didn't realize that it didn't have door locks ( on the door handles). I was pissed. It's only available on upper trims. Weird. But I checked the power outlet in...
