UK 3 pin plug charger unit - not warranted

I'd certainly replace the socket before plugging anything else into it. ;)

    5th Service £485.75

I believe it's a 12 year anti corrosion warranty. Don't know what the Incident B Recall is.

    Eco button ?

Try this one. I guess there may be some differences between models for UK & Canada. https://www.mitsubishi-motors.co.uk/owners/manuals

    Eco button ?

From the 2018 manual: ECO mode is an eco-driving support system which automatically controls the Plug-in Hybrid EV System and air conditioning system to improve fuel efficiency. When the ECO mode is active, your vehicle will slowly accelerate even when you press the accelerator pedal. Refer to...

    Catalytic converter thefts

Criminal gangs are believed to be targeting easily identifiable models such as the Toyota Prius and Lexus 400h, because hybrids contain more precious metals than other vehicles. The surge in thefts is believed to be linked to the soaring value of two of the metals used in catalytic converters...

    Catalytic converter thefts

Mitsubishi suggest you'd open the bonnet to remove the catalytic converter. Item #10 (Catalytic converter) It bolts to the exhaust manifold I believe.

do you need winter tyres for the outlander?

I can highly recommend Cooper Weathermaster WSC winter tyres. Progress is severely limited by the tiny ground clearance of the Outlander. Much more momentum is required in deeper snow. In these conditions winter tyres are superb.

Where do you come from, ex-petrolhead?

1982 I took my driving lessons & test in a real Mini. Owned these over the years. Some I deeply regret parting with & some I wish I'd never touched. 1974 Landrover Series 3 SWB 2.25 1968 Mini 1380 (heavily modified) :D 1974 Mini 850 1980 Mini 998 1979 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus (heavily...

Timed Defrost not working any longer

I spent some time at the weekend trying to get the timed climate working again. It stopped working around the time that the clocks changed. Eventually solved by setting the clock to manual mode with summer time off. :D

Timed Defrost not working any longer

Mine has also stopped working. Seemed to coincide with the change to British summer time. The clock is currently correct. This happened on our previous 2015 car. I got that one working by changing the pre-heat start time by an hour.

    100,000 mile Filter Kit replacement

The in-tank fuel filter looks like any other car. The filters can be a little fiddly to swap over but you just need patience & cleanliness. The Mitsubishi Phev service costs are tiny compared with the Landrover Discovery. One of the many reasons I quit Landrover ownership.... ;)

    Dog pet guard

I think that the SP041021 is for a Mitsubishi ASX.....?

    Dog pet guard

For the Genuine Mitsubishi dog guard part no: SP042018, I bought some 19mm suction cups from Towsure to replace the original feet. It's more sturdy & shouldn't damage the side trim now.

    Dog pet guard

I have just taken a Genuine Mitsubishi dog guard out of my 2015 Phev 4H & it's going to go into a 2018 model. If you decide to fit a Genuine Mitsubishi dog guard, don't over tighten the two fixings. Doing so damages the side panels. The red arrows mark where the panels get damaged. I have...

    AVAS speaker location

On the 2015 car, it's mounted under the bonnet on the oil pump bracket. See: http://www.myoutlanderphev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2170&start=30
