How does the rate of charge change over charge session

Get a proper charger... 16A will take 3 1/2 hours. It will pull the most currrent at the beginning of the cycle, to answer your question

2014 PHEV Slows then Speeds Up While Cruising

Not quite the same, but a long time ago (2014) my late 2013 model suddenly did a full emergency stop on the motorway when on cruise control. Fortunately it did not trigger an accident. My dealer diagnosed a corrupt line of software - but not without help from Japan.

    LPG Conversion for the PHEV

You'll have to search back in the forum to 2014/2015. Quite a few conversions back then. You'll have to do your sums, though, the price of conversion vs. the savings on petrol. LPG is not free either...

There, I amended that for you. ;)

False Advertising - Class Action Lawsuit

The trigger to start is about +10º C in Europe, and then it will run for about five minutes, longer as the temperature gets lower. Using the EV button and Eco will shorten this period significantly, sometimes down to nearly zero.

False Advertising - Class Action Lawsuit

The car has been on the market since 2013, with tens of thousands sold in Europe and Japan. Norway is a major market, the climate is pretty cold up there, as it is in the North of Japan. A Google search would have turned up plenty of information.

False Advertising - Class Action Lawsuit

Given that this is normal behaviour for any PHEV, I doubt whether you will get much further than wasting time and effort. It will end in "you should have researched your purchase better" Due Diligence, I believe it is called. Your first sentence shows that you do not understand the design - A...

    Flat Towing Safe?

Flat towing is only allowed for a damaged car below 30 kph and over very short distances. (User Manual) The wiring and motors can overheat -which won't do the wiring much good- and in a worst case cause a fire. I would look for another example.

Broken wing mirror with camera module

Your garage is talking through its hat - I inquired about a new mirror interior only yesterday, as I broke an edge off the black part. The price was horrendous though, 749 Euro, so I decided to live with it.

    Excessive petrol consumption

Is this a dealer? Complain to Mitsubishi. And change dealers. If I am a paying customer and the firm gives the impression that they think that I am daft, I change from daft to obnoxious and never return. BTW, the brakes themselves do the same as the paddles, the first bit of braking is not by...

Will soon be cheaper to run my phev on petrol

Not always - Charging during the day runs off my solar panels.

What I would change about my PHEV after 12,000km

Indeed. Of course a dealer will have a charge point. They need it for their own stock of electric vehicles and for BMU procedures. And of course they will facilitate a customer if needed.

    Car ignition Issue (Power ON)

My previous 2013/14 model behaved similarly.I never thought twice about it for seven years and 160.000 km. IMO it is not something to worry about.

Series Hybrid Mode - Racing Engine question

Basically that button is your right foot. Feathering the throttle really works in that situation. The EV button is quite effective too.

There must be car battery reconditioning services in Australia.

Flattened auxiliary battery - any consequences?

That is not really acceptable. If the car is under warranty they should repair non-working parts.

Flattened auxiliary battery - any consequences?

Don't. The lock is integrated in the electronics, as it functions as an emergency bypass of the electronic locking system. If you want it changed you will have to have it done by Mitsubishi - at a hefty price. But - if there is a mismatch between the original key supplied and the door lock...

Flattened auxiliary battery - any consequences?

When you push the button on the key fob and pull out the metal loop, you'll find it is an emergency key, just for situations like this. It is set out clearly in the manual. The auxiliary battery is charged daily and when the car is running from the main battery and should never be flat. Find...
