Unpairing a Phone from the App

Good Afternoon All,

Quick question, I have the smartphone app and it works fine. However, in Settings then Number of Registered Smartphones it says 2. How do you remove a phone from the app? This has happened when I changed phones and my old one is still paired to the app but not the Bluetooth. Any ideas?

Delete the network from your phone.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a go. The old phone has not actually been turned on (that I am aware of!) for about 8 months!

I don't think that will help. As the WiFi module in the car keeps track of the number of paired phones. Not paired on the WiFi level, but paired on the app level. When you can still connect to the car with the old phone and use the app, you can unpair the old phone from within the app. If not, you must use the WiFi reset procedure and reconnect the new phone.

how do you unpair with the app ? Is it the "cancel VIN registration" feature ?

I get a new iPhone next week (iOS 9.0), but according to the Mitsubishi website the remote app is not yet compatible with iOS 9.0 :!: and they recommend to wait with the iOS upgrade (my new iPhone is loaded be my employer....so I am in trouble ;-)

BTW: The EV/MiEV ECU in our cars is able to provide us with below info via the OBDII protocol. I have not yet tried to decode the information as it comes from the ECU, so for now it is just to give an idea.

I saw the ios9 doesn't work on the website today as well..... after using the app all most days after I have upgraded to ios9. seems to work for me? (iPhone 5s)

iOS9 not working for me (iPhone 4S). I'm currently carrying round my wife's old Android phone just in order to operate the app
