Soft "bong" noise

Not sure if I am going mad, but every so often I hear a soft "bong" noise as I am driving along, similar to the seatbelt undo/fasten noise on an aircraft. Does anyone have any idea what it could be please? Thanks in advance!

Satnav thinks you are going to cast for the upcoming corner. You can disable this feature in the satnav.

And it is accompanied by a small yellow "winding road ahead" sign on the map...

Thank you! That makes sense, as thinking about it, it has happened just before a couple of sharpish bends. It is quite a soft noise, so will probably leave it enabled to keep me informed my foot may be slightly heavy!

Luckily this feature has not been fitted to our Focus ST estate, or my wife (usually drives it) would be suffering with tinnitus from all the boings!!
