Since updating the App and firmware to the car!

On Tuesday I finally accepted the app telling me to update the Car Firmware. Although very cold at night I have left the car plugged in each night and used the timer to give a quick 10mins of heating (removed the frost like a dream). Anyway I have noticed that the distance being displayed for the remaining battery was 14 miles, although the blue bar seems to indicate a lot more (20miles by previous experience). Is it the cold culling the battery, has the firmware messed up the numerical distance reading, anyone else seeing the same issue.

It's a little warmer today and it's back on full charge (16amp Chargemaster unit) so will it be third time lucky?

You're probably seeing a couple of things at the same time.

In colder weather, the battery doesn't perform as well and range goes down.

When Pre-heating, some of the battery charge is used for the heater (even though the car is plugged in).

I thought my car had a dud battery until I discovered that it was pre-heating every EVENING.

Thanks for that, noticed this morning by slowing the fan by one - suddenly the distance went back up......bug?, or as you say it was warmer this morning and I didn't have the preheat on.
