Poor quality Iphone connection

Just picked up 2018 PHEV GT and every time i use the handsfree with my iphone the people on the other end of the conversation complain about excessive background noise. The windows are rolled up and the last 2 times i heard this complaint i was sitting still in my garage. i have tried other phones with the same results. Dealer does not have any ideas. i use the same iphone with 2 other cars (2014 Honda Accord and 2015 Corvette) for years with no complaints, its only with the PHEV.

There have been numerous threads on here over the years about this topic as the sound quality for call receivers is not great, and it appears to be so all over the world.

Thanks for the reply. it was the only one i received so im guessing that its not a universal problem. but it has made using the builtin phone connection worthless. the dealer was unaware of the problem with very low volume with connected by bluetooth and says that a software upgrade is on the way, shortly.
