PHev 3H pre heat

I own a PHEV 3H, this may sound silly but how do I pre heat the car, when plugged in I start the car leave the key in its little slot, get out come back 5/10/15 minutes later is still cold or still steamed up, if I unplug the car from the charger it is the same, also if I turn the heat up above 16 degrees C the petrol engine kicks in some so cannot drive on electric if heater is on, any help would be much appreciated. I thought the 3H did not have an electric heater. So, the only way to heat the interior would be to have there engine running.

Yes, sorry, Ted, it's not possible. As Anko says, there's only the engine to provide heat in the 3H.

...also....it's worth remembering if you leave your car unattended with the key in it you shouldn't be surprised if your insurer is unwilling to entertain a claim if the car is stolen.

And it is illegal to leave a vehicle unattended with the engine running in the UK.
