Hey all
Just wondering if anyone else has had the multimedia screen not respond on to touch on one side of the screen? My dealer has said I should replace it, but at 2500 bucks (!) I was wonderig if there is a a way to re-calibrate it first?

And it is not covered by the gold bumper to bumper warranty, despite only having 61K km.

No, calibration doesn't work. It's a known issue, mine was replaced under warranty. You can do it yourself as well. Another forum member already accomplished this task....Let the dealer handle this under warranty..See no reason why it is different in your case?

Hi, I've done the screen on mine while waiting for the warranty one to come (6 months), you can get a new screen on ebay for about £40 there's many "how to" video's on YouTube it's very easy to do literally takes less than an hour, the Chinese copy! Looks the same 99%, possibly slightly darker black and works perfectly. Mine was a 2020 with 55k. If you don't fancy doing it yourself ask a phone or audio shop, to be honest It's more difficult getting up some mornings than changing the screen! LOL
One of many adverts note, some have navigation button or cutouts for control knobs UK stock are about £40, direct from China are £20ish https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28611499...NLVSs-7TmW&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Just bought a ‘21 and the screen doesn’t work. Common fault it is the Digitser that picks up your touch. I took it back under warranty and waiting for a new digitiser. Apparently could be quite a wait! Meantime get any old computer mouse with wire & usb on end, plug it into usb socket on dash and click, the screen will say ‘not supported’ click again and you will have a cursor to operate screen with, that’s what I’m using while waiting for part. 😊

If it's like mine the mouse trick lasted about a month, then started randomly calling people, changing the radio station and constantly beeping, I had to pull the plug out from the back in the end.
