Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in Canada (North America)

The following is the response I received from Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada when I asked about the release of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in Canada:

"Thank you for contacting Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to our customer's questions and comments.

We do not have an official release date but the Outlander PHEV is expected to be available in late 2014. We suggest you click here to find your local Mitsubishi dealer and contact them for more information and to see if they are able to place an order for you.

I called our Hawaii dealer last week and they said they have no info at all about this model. I think the Ford Gran C-Max seven seater plug in will be in the U.S. before the Outlander :-(

Did you try contacting a Mitsu dealer in Canada yet? It'll be interesting to see if they've even heard of it!

I contact a reseller in montreal last week and they just begining to take order since few days. He told me that it will be exposed at the Montreal auto show in next january and in retailer on mars or april.
It will be only few cars availables on each retailers. Mine is reserved. ..

Did they firm up a price? Best estimate I've seen thus far is $55,000 plus 13% tax and minus the $8500 electric subsidy.
