Hi
A long shot I'm sure but I'm going to ask anyway. I've lost my keyfob somewhere in my house. I know that the Outlander PHEV uses a PKE type key, and for keyless entry it's using RFID.
I'm hoping that there might be a way for the key to respond to an RFID signal but before I get an RFID antenna and get it working on my Arduino I just wondered if anyone has thought about this before / or done it before?
My plan is to hide my other key somewhere then go into each room with the antenna and see if any response is received. I may have to get quite close to the key to have it respond but somehow it does respond for the Outlander when I'm close enough.
Any thoughts?
