Lose power Once the battery exhausted. Outlander phev 2013

No response from engone!
When I pressed the accelerator down fully, flooring it, there was NO response from the engine! Once the battery exhausted. But while charging a little while on the roadside by the engine, the car can drive normally. Once the battery exhausted the issue appear again.
What the problem is? And what should I do?

Does the engine start when you select Charge mode?

If so, it's likely that your car thinks you have more battery capacity than reality.

If you can't start the engine at all, I'd be searching for a hack where the engine is disabled by installing a switch or pulling a fuse.
