About to open a can of worms here ...
This time last year, I had two older vehicles 'de-carbonised' using Hydrogen (water based) one off treatment and was surprised at how well the process worked giving improved performance and mileage. The cost was £140 for both cars.
Note both vehicles are over 10years old with 65k on the oil burner and 45k on the petrol/gas burner.
There is an option to have a Hydrogen fuel cell fitted to the vehicle on a permanent basis to provide the de-carbonising effect and improve combustion/fuel efficency. The cost of fitting is £500 and the unit can be reused on a subsequent vehicle when you sell the existing one on.
Does anyone have any experience on having one of these fitted to a PHEV? What kind of issues should I be aware of? etc....
