Hey! Utgent help, my tow hinge (detachable) is stuck

Pictures coming now, but its basickly stuck and i have an appoitment for hanger rental at 8 tomorrow morning.

PHEV 2014 mod.

Tried to attach the detachable towhinge but its stuck now. Not safe to drive with..

Any manuals or isntructions for that?

Updated with pics.. wondering if i shoulf wack it with a rubber mallet... any spray i could use to assist?

This one shows the problem, i cant get it off .. cant get the key out either

After forcing it off, clean and grease the seat where the tubular extensions are supposed to be resting in. That is supposed to be a precise fit and often gets clogged up by dirt and rust.

Yep, that did it!

Is there supposed to be a cap for when its nor in use? And why cant i remove the key when its on?
