Heating when outside temp is below negativ 20 Celsius

I have an issue with heating/AC when the outside temp is below negativ 20 Celsius.

The fans/AC will blow very cold inside, even though I have set the AC to positiv 20 Celsius and the car insists driving on EV and I have problem forcing the car to drive on ICE (Charge or Sport mode does not help).

Is there a way to force the car to drive on ICE? So we can once again enjoy warm cabin and defrosted windows.

Have you tried pressing the 'Charge' button?

So what happens when you have no charge left in the battery?

Normally the car will do this automatically. This sounds like a fault. Consult your dealer.

According to the manual for my 2014 car, the PHEV starts to do strange things if the ambient temp is above 45c or below 15c - so at MINUS 20c (and below) it might not be a fault but "normal" behaviour. :idea:
