This really does sound crazy to me, but I have to wonder...... have the dealers imported inappropriate versions of the car to the USA?Mine has an air-conditioner, and a separate electric heater.I can testify that the heater works exceptionally well, and it can be used for remotely pre-heating the cabin at any temperature.Not having a battery heater just seems to be weird, especially considering that Mitsubishi is from Japan, and parts of Japan (Hokkaido) regularly seeing temperatures below -30°C(I believe that Japan's record low temperature is -48°C)
