I'm in NZ and we don't have the smartphone link. The 12v battery is 50ah and 420cca, so it is quite small and I was concerned about leaving the car unattended long term. On my previous 2016 PHEV the traction battery would charge the 12v at 2pm daily. I could not find anything on this with my new Gen4 model so I hooked up a battery monitor. I discharged the 12v battery to 11.8v (25% capacity), made sure I had a good amount in the traction battery (60% unplugged) then locked the car and did not use it for a couple of days. On the 2nd day at 0945hr the 12v got charged for 5 min @ 14.4v (50% capacity). At 1000hr on the 3rd day the 12v battery got charged again for about 5 minutes and again to 50% capacity.

What year is your new Gen4? Sorry but I am not familiar with Gen numbering as I live in Canada.

I have had our 12v empty twice (down to 7 volts). Replaced the battery on our dime as the dealership said it load tested fine so they could not warranty it. I would love to be able to track the 12v charging cycle like you have done. Can you tell us what battery monitor you used to record the charging times? It would be nice to have that to show Mitsubishi if our new 12v goes flat again. Thanks.

I was able to track down and purchase the 12v battery monitor. This is what 24 hours looks like with the car not being plugged in with my new 12v battery.
So it started out at 12.5v right after a full drive battery charge cycle. At the 24 hour mark 11.69v it charged for a few minutes. I can see two power draws at four hour intervals. Then one eight hours in. Wonder if it is waking up to check the 12v state of charge at those intervals.
My parasitic drain looks much higher than vs2's graph?

Maybe you could share which battery monitor you used?
Quicklinks Bluetooth4.0 Battery Monitor II from Amazon.
You can see that when the car is plugged in the 12v stays at around 13v. There are "blips" in either 4 or 8 hour intervals when the car is not plugged in. I put a question mark on the 27th. Not sure why the voltage moved up and then stayed constant until the car decided to charge at midnight again. Every other day the 12v seemed to have a linear drop until the next charge cycle.
