I'm picking up my fairly new 2023 phev Aspire this week. It's wonderful, still trying to understand the things it can do, currently constrained by the lack of a manual. Do I need to up my charging capability yet, don't know, until later. Is level 2 charging really useful for this car?

Hello Tim

Welcome to our Forum

I hope you enjoying the weather there, down under.

Since your voltage system the is 240VAC Level 2 would be best and can Charge your 2023 at tge maximum rate of 3.7kW.

Not sure what Charging Cable you received with your Car.

Using a Level 2 charger will charge your 20kWr Battery is 6 1/2 to 7 hrs.

With a Level 1 used in North America it only uses 120VAC and has a maximum charge rate of 1.7kW so it takes up to 16 hrs to charge from empty.
