I don't think the energy flow goes 'through' the battery in any model.Somewhere in the manual it explains that the battery can provide x kW, and maximum power to the motors comes from battery plus the generator.If the energy went through the battery, I don't think the motors could realise the full 120 kW.I think the battery must be in parallel rather than in series.
