I just purchased a 2022 Mitsubishi outlander. PHEV. I have a chargepoint flex charger coming tomorrow. I have installed a 60 amp breaker with a 6AWG wire. The reason I put the 60 amp breaker is for the future. My question is I understand that when I'm setting the chargepoint flex charger up to the app on my phone, it will indicate to me what amp rating I should select. What would be the best amp rating I can use to maximize the charge time? Thank you.

To maximise the charge time?
Do you really want the charge time to be longer?
If so, select the lowest current it can deliver.
Hopefully some of our more technical members will be able to tell you the settings that would:
(a) minimise charge time; and,
(b) place the battery under the least stress.

The PHEV BMS will regulate input to 3.6kWh (16 Amps) regardless of the supply capacity via the Type 1 socket.
