Charge button seems to have stopped working

Very odd... but the other day I pushed the charge button while out and about under EV power just to see what it does.. and the engine came on and was quite audible. so pretty much as expected.

Today just wanted to try again while the car was parked and its not doing anything other than light up the charge indicator on the dash. Battery is about 90%.
Tried with car fully powered on etc.

The only thing I can think of is perhaps it will not come on until you drop below 80% charge?
No charge timers set etc

The theory, at least, is that Charge only works up to about 80% - though it seems to not be so deterministic - I have seen mine carry on burning petrol while it tries hard to get the battery up to 100%

That is normal. You will find that regeneration by braking or lifting off the accelerator will not do anything either when the battery is (nearly) full.

Exactly as per replies... below 80% the charge button started working again
