Car radio

This is probably a really dumb question but.....how do I switch the radio off (2014 UK model).
When I switch the car on I always receive a message asking to choose the language on the main big dashboard display.
Do I have do select this every time I switch the car on?
The radio comes on. I can toggle between radio and sat nav but have no idea how to switch everything off!! Please help TIA

To switch the radio on/off, press the big round (volume) button on the left! If the radio is on when you switch the car off, it will come on when you start again (annoyingly sometimes on a different radio channel, at least on DAB).
You don't have to select the language each time you use the car, just wait a few seconds and the 'language' screen will clear by itself
