Can I lock Outlander when charging from engine?

Am I able to lock the outlander when I charge it from the engine?

Don't think it is cost effective to charge from the engine unless your getting free fuel.

No - if you try to lock it it will just beep.

Someone did post here that you could do it if you really wanted to by using the physical emergency key. I haven't tried it.

Yes it can be done with the emergency key, cant for the life of me remember how to do it. The Mitsubishi sales man showed it to me on the test drive model back in July.

Interesting, are we supposed to get an emergency key, I just got two fobs :?:

Thanks for that, so that's what that little lever is for, I though it was to open up for battery replacement :?

That physical key is also the recommended method for locking the car if it is going to be subject to vibration or shock - as in being moved on a transporter or in a ferry - it does not arm the alarm which would otherwise be likely to go off repeatedly.
