In my gx4hs, if I turn my car on with google maps running on my phone, the car seems to think it is in a phone call and streaming starts with the slightly rubbish quality you hear through a hands free phone call and the mmcs shows 'in call'. The only way to switch it back to normal is to fiddle with the app doing the streaming - pressing the end call button on the steering wheel doesn't work.
I get this consistently. Anyone else see a similar effect or have a solution?
Car: gx4hs I think the software in mmcs is up to date as of May 2015
Phone : iPhone 6
Steps to reproduce:
Turn the car off when streaming (I use audible)
Open google maps on phone (I have audio prompts in gmaps turned off)
Find a route in gmaps
Make sure your streaming app is open but not actually playing (again I usually use audible)
Start the car
