App update

Apologies if this has been asked before but does anyone have any inside word on when we might see a half pie decent update to the app? Probably my biggest disappointment with the PHEV as it is rubbish. Does anyone know if there is enough hardware to allow for more features in the future?

Well, given that it has been updated not too long ago without adding any substantial improvements, I wouldn't hold my breath...
