Any generic auxiliary batteries?

It's my first post, so I would like to say hi!

I would like to ask a question if any of you know about any generic auxiliary batteries for Outlander Phevs? My went flat and probably I won't be able to charge it. Original YUASA is super expensive, so I thought maybe someone knows any alternative?

I assume that installing an acid counterpart is not a good idea?

In the UK, Kwikfit apparently have one for under £100. But why do you say you can't fit an acid one? The OEM is a normal lead acid one, anyway. :idea:

It needs a special vented battery as it is deemed to be inside the car. Have a look at Section Z in Richi's FAQ

I read the OP as thinking that the OEM battery is not lead acid :idea:
