Hi folks

I have been following the forum for a couple of months now and having test driven the PHEV am 95% sure I'll be placing an order through my business. The tax savings are just incredible!

As the title says, has anyone ordered a car through http://www.new-car-discount.com/car/mitsubishi/outlander/4x4/all/all and any experience of using them?

I have spoken on the phone to them and been in email communication, which all seems good so far.

Looking at the GX4H model which on that site is only slightly more than the GX3H from a dealer

Cheers

Dave

I looked at a similar site and found the cars were either pre reg or ex demos. You may want to get a guarantee its for a new vehicle.

They would be straight off the shipment due to arrive in November and can pre-register it straight to my company, so we would be the first registered keepers of the vehicle. Only if buying privately do they pre-register the vehicle.

Won't effect the warranty

I used Carwow and got a load of offers from Mitsubishi dealers all over the country. My local dealer matched the best offer.

Obviously the cardiscount.com website also includes the £5000 from the government but they are still great prices.

New car discount I was due to buy a Nissan from the them but Nissans stupid waiting lists, decided against it.
I received a full refund on my deposit no hassle at all.

Salesman John Robertson was the guy I dealt with.

Hi

I have a 4h on order with new car discount. Paid £500 deposit. Process has been very straight forward so far - although i have very little information as to exactly when the car will arrive. I ordered around 20 sept with a mid to late October expectation, but I am told I can't get a more accurate date until the cars are off the ship and no good info when the ship will be in. Will be about 10 days after that. From the other posts guessing it might be Nov now.

I plan to px my existing car. Value was trade but fair. there is no problem if you choose to sell you car in the mean time. The correspondence has been prompt and helpful.

Haven't decided yet if I should also buy the £500 service pack - any views appreciated

It is good value as significantly cheaper than paying for the services individually. You can't buy the service pack after the car is registered.
Kind regards,
Mark

New car discount looking good for me. Notified at the weekend car here and ready in around a week. Added the service pack with an email and now confirmed as available for delivery to my home from Fri - as per forecast from Mid Sept. Will confirm if all goes to plan

My car arrived today !! - all was in order and exactly as described. The communication with NCD from confirming the car was in the UK through to delivery at home has been very positive. The wait from ordering to notification of arrival was also a bit disconcerting for me but the timelines worked out to be as originally predicted by NCD. There was a mix up last week when the dealer delivered the wrong car to my door - easy to spot as not the colour I ordered!. NCD were very supportive, got it sorted and got the dealer to deliver my car to me the next working day.

Clearly the lack of direct contact with the dealer might not be for everyone but with great sources of info like this forum I am more than happy to recommend NCD.
Cheers
