Adjusting rain detector

After replacing windscreen with a crack my rain detector lost sensitivity and is turning the windscreen wiper on with too low frequency.

Any suggestion about possible adjustment? (PHEV 2015)

If you are sure that you did not inadvertently turn the sensitivity adjustment on the stalk to low (the ring nearest to the steering wheel), you can only ask the firm that replaced your windscreen to glue the sensor on properly.

Any update on this? My new windscreen has developed this exact same problem. Not only lack of sensitivity, but erratic frequency

The rain sensor is not glued on but attached by a metal clip. I went back to the windscreen guys and they took it out, gave it a rub and put it back, reseating it properly (I guess) seems to work ok now.
