2015 phev p flashing

I have checked most forums on here and none related to the problem I have with my 2015 phev . P is flashing on dash and next to gear lever, engine warning light is on. And it starts ok, will not go into drive or reverse. Ready mode is on , brake lights are working, charge and save modes work , no faults shown in reader. Would appreciate Any advise

It could be that the electric parking switch has failed.

Thanks for getting back to me andy. I removed the parking relay from the fuse box and the p lock warning light came on and the neutral light was flashing, at least I know how to get the car in neutral now. I've attached picture of dash ,p light flashing . One thing I've noticed is that when I start the car it starts with the petrol engine not the electric as usual even though plenty of battery showing. Will order p switch and see how we get on. Many thanks
