2 issues, Phev app and pre heat not working

I have two issues i'm having trouble with, car is 2014 phev

1st Problem- Mitsubishi phev app wont register.
I'm trying to install on a new phone samsung s7 that's running android 8.0.0
I've previously installed on another older phone with no problem . I have just 1 phone registered.
I am using Mitsubishi Phev app and my car has a 10 digit password .


2nd problem

Pre heating is not working.
Timers set in the app fine.
Checked MMCS to make sure settings are on there and they are.
The cars plugged in charging overnight so has a full charge.
Has been working fine previously so unsure why its just stopped working.
i wiped all setting from car using hazard light 20 time press and then once all settings cleared set manually in MMCS still not working?

Can anyone help with these issues please?

The older/10-digit-password Phev app only supports up to Android 7.1.2. Maybe your dealer can change the password to a 14-digit password which may allow you to use the (newer) Phev 1 app.
