Been shopping around waiting for the 5 to pop out and I have been getting quotes on the 4hs with £8K off list..........is this usual or just because it's Christmas soon (end of year)?

The £8000 off is likely to include the £5000 government grant, assuming you're in the UK.

Always a good idea to complete your profile, otherwise Santa might not know where to find you.

Nope, £8K plus the £5K grant.......... :D

Although that was for a top of the range model.

Well its about £2500 more than DTD. What springs to mind is hand and bite off.

We used CARWOW and managed £4790 off the standard 4 which, bar one dealer, was offered by all . (DTD is currently offering £4667 discount)

We got our standard 4 for £4,313 less than list exc the grant. Are you sure the £8k excludes grant? i.e. Car is costing you £28k? If so, bite their hand off. If not, keep negotiating :D

I ordered mine back in June and it was delivered in September (pre-facelift) but as well as the grant got a £5752 discount on a 4h.
