    Orange / high voltage cable issue

    I've just had an email back from Mitsubishi UK, the braid on the cables is in fact screening for radio suppression, it's left exposed to allow water to escape, and it's grounded at both ends of the cable, hopefully the MOT tester will accept the email from Mitsubishi and issue the MOT.

    Hi did you get the cable issue resolved, my 2020 outlander has just failed for "exposed cables" I believe it's just a screening braid that's exposed not a current carrying cable, spare parts with pictures on Ebay show exactly the same style of manufacturer, I'm an EX aircraft tech and I've seen...
