    Wifi

You can use a repeater close to the car. Use the same ssid and security key. The repeater will transmit a stronger signal than the module inside the car. When the app on my phone was still working I could control the car (through stone walls) at 25 mtrs distance easily.

Burning rubber smell from back of car, while just driving on ECO.

I would like to know whether the friction plate of the torque limiter/dry clutch contains compounded rubber, often used in dry clutches. I quote: " Overheating Clutch - An overheating clutch, typically from riding or excessive wear, produces a burning rubber smell...." To me that's the number...

Burning rubber smell from back of car, while just driving on ECO.

There is, in blue, near the top of the page, just above the image that doesn't show. See also the following info on the Richi Jennings website, where the smal wet clutch is the torque converter and the emergency clutch the torque limiter: K.1. The front transaxle The PHEV has a single-speed...

    Battery flat

The main battery won't go flat. Once the range is zero there is still appr. 30% charge left in the main battery.

Burning rubber smell from back of car, while just driving on ECO.

Thanks. You're absolutely right, however I'm only trying to help and can do without silly comments from Littlescrote. You may always correct me, I can make mistakes, but do it in a decent way. That's the downside of this medium....Hope you'll solve your problem!!

Burning rubber smell from back of car, while just driving on ECO.

The reason why I think the built up rubber particles on exhaust is not valid is because the smell is suddenly there after 1100km of driving (ICE of course used heavily)whilst climbing a mountain pass...The built up rubber would have been fully burned by then on the hot exhaust

Burning rubber smell from back of car, while just driving on ECO.

Thanks for your kind words. Call it a torgue limiter or converter. There is definitely one in this vehicle. In fact both are present. You really OUGHT to understand the vehicle you've bought...nice wording I need to remember!!!

Did you check the rear engine mount?

Burning rubber smell from back of car, while just driving on ECO.

Some say it is the rubber particles from the road surface that are thrown against the exhaust. I never believed this. I think it is the torque converter... I smell it occasionally when driving in the mountains (climbing) or whilst towing...

    Multimedia screen failure

No, calibration doesn't work. It's a known issue, mine was replaced under warranty. You can do it yourself as well. Another forum member already accomplished this task....Let the dealer handle this under warranty..See no reason why it is different in your case?

    Hi

I know the feeling. Some people are just very uncomfortable with the term global warming. You can't do more than your best....but please keep doing it!! I own a 2019 model. At first I had no emotional connection with the car at all. (Is it weird having an emotional connection with a car?) I just...

    0w20 or 5w30?

What you should consider as well is the time you drive EV without activating the ICE. I've always wondered how this affects lubrication at the time you do need to start the ICE. Thicker oil might be better because it sticks longer to parts that need lubrication. Thinner oil might be better...

I have to let Mitsubishi service my car on a yearly basis in order to keep the 8 years warranty.

MiPHEV's Highway Trip Economy, Trailering, and Fuel Logbook Data

Well, Mitsubishi Oil Change Interval over here (Netherlands) is 20000km and not every 8000 or 9000 km...Still they could also look at actual ICE hours but they like to make money by servicing stuff that doesn't require servicing...I don't want to give up my 8 year Mitsubishi warranty otherwise I...
