if the fully charged video review is anything to go by the golf is a bit more frisky than the outlander - boot space isnt too much of a concern for me, although the AWD is attractive. Maybe more research is needed before clicking "submit" on the outlander order

have you requested/ordered a type 2 cable from fleet solutions for charging at public charging posts?

We ordered in mid Jan, so with a bit of faffing, us delaying delivery for a week to get the 15 plate I reckon it has been about 7 weeks. I ordered early/mid January, I did opt for a removable towbar - I understand that should only delay things by around a week. No further info other than...

I will probably click the button on a fleet solutions deal in the next week or so - so delivery info would be useful - ie how long from order to delivery. Although i note that the prices seem to have gone up compared to when i last looked at them!

thanks chaps, it looks like I can get a fully serviced and insured phev via the work lease scheme for about 20 quid a month more than my monthly petrol bill. So saving me insurance cost and the VED on the subaru I am 1k ahead, plus I can park for free when charging at one of my work sites...

Last summer I borrowed a phev to see if it would be a good replacement for the wifes Jeep - her use profile would be perfect - she does about 25 miles a day and rarely any long trips. She didnt really gel with the car so we didnt pursue it any further. My work patterns is going to change over...

Thanks Fragge, I sat in a 4h a few weeks ago (it had just landed at the dealer and was still wrapped in plastic) which had the electric seat, the car I have for an extended test drive has the manual seat, I can get comfy, but my wife felt it could do with going a little higher to be properly...

Just obtained an outlander for a test day or two. The car we have has manual set height adjustment, but if we buy we will probably get the higher spec with electric height adjustment. Can anyone tell me whether the two systems have the same range of height adjustment?
